Service Description

Recommended Levels: Beginner - those who are new to Yoga or the Iyengar method. The focus is on standing poses, arm work, and seated poses. Forward bending, twisting, and back bending are introduced. Students are introduced to their bodies and taught how to relax deeply. & Advanced Beginner - for students who have completed several sessions at the Beginner level or are new to the Iyengar method but have prior experience. Prone back bendings, basic abdominal asanas are introduced and new forward extensions and twists are added. Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and Halasana are learned in a progressive manner. & Intermediate - for students who are ready to deepen their already established Yoga practice. Students have been well prepared to learn Sirsasana (Headstand) and variations in Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand) are introduced.
